Use these sites to help you create your own music! Some are fun and easy, some are fun and complicated. Either way try as many as you want until you find the one that feels right for you! If you create a song you like make sure you save it and share it!

The Chrome Music Lab is an entire musical suite from Google. Explore and experiment with all sorts of tools and sounds. String, percussion, key, loops, and even a spectrogram await you in this fun and interactive set of programs.

Splice beat make is a powerful tool to make looping beats. You click a dot to add a sound, and you can choose from a list of sounds below. Each color is a different sound. As the line moves across the screen it plays each sound it touches. There are a ton of combinations and even examples from professional DJs that use this beat maker!

 

 

Soundtrap is one of the best sites out there for making it music. It has a million things you can do from record your instruments and voice with a microphone, add in loops and samples in the program, or use one of their digital instruments available in the program. Since there is so much to do it can be a little complicated at time, luckily they have tutorial videos for you to watch!

 

 

 

Bandlab.com is the best free DAW (Digita Auideo Workspace) I have ever used. It’s just as good as GarageBand or other expensive products, but totally free to use. Just use an email to sign up and your on your way to make great music! You can make beats, create loops, or play digital instruments.

 

 

 

Probably the newest resource  in this list, Looplabs can take a while to load, but when it does you have over 100,000 samples to choose from. You drag and drop the sounds (loops) you like into your song, combining drums, beats, and other sounds into a fun and cool track. If you have an account you can always save and publish your work too!
